I have many wonderful interviews with Victor also that I will be adding soon to the new section. The Awards section has also been updated because Mature's Matinee was chosen as one of Asia E!Online's Choice Websites. :) I'm almost out of room on my America Online accounts for the web so I've added the new sections on Tripod. You will notice a few pop-up ads. If you just "minimize" the ad you shouldn't have to look at any more of them during the time you are surfing around the new sections on tripod. :) Now I will be able to expand the website a lot more in the future. :) Also the fan club needs articles and photos of Victor from 1960 through the 1990s because most of the articles/photos that I've found are from earlier in his career. If anyone has any please e-mail me because I'd be glad to purchase them or pay for copies for the fan club. Thank you! :) Please remember to check out TV NOW's Victor Mature Schedule for JANUARY that is up now! :)

Thank you. :) I hope that everyone has a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a wonderful New Year! Please remember to check out TV NOW's Victor Mature Schedule for DECEMBER that is up now! :)

UPDATE 23 November 1999: For this update I've added two articles with photos to Vintage Victor--"More of Talented Vic" and "Handsome and Talented Victor at age 77." The Vic Related Links section has been updated with a link to Charlie Chaplin's site. I read an article where Victor had said how much it meant to him when Mr. Chaplin had written him a lovely letter encouraging him early in his career. A very special thank you goes to the Association Chaplin for permission to use the photo. The links section has also been updated and I will be adding hundreds of new links soon. Also there is a website I'm sure you'll be interested in. It's Robert's Hard To Find Videos. They have many of Victor's videos that are impossible to find and are sold collector to collector. He said that some of the rarer titles don't come with full color packaging and may come from 16mm films or in rare cases could have been from foreign sources so may be a little bit fuzzy. (He said that only a few of over 60,000 titles fit into that category.) It looks like a great place to find Victor's movies that are normally unavailable on video. Please remember to check out TV NOW's Victor Mature Schedule for DECEMBER that is up now! :)

UPDATE 6 November 1999: I have to organize a few things on the web before I add the new galleries so for this update I instead added two new articles to Vintage Victor. The first is Victor on the Truth Or Consequences radio show from 1950. There are 4 really cute photos with that also. The second one is about Victor wanting straight drama roles and the article also included many of his hunk pictures. I know that a lot of Victor's fans also love golf and I thought that this was a really fun idea and something that Victor might have liked. :) It's the 1999 Jack Nicklaus Online Golf Championship. Please remember to check out TV NOW's Victor Mature Schedule for NOVEMBER that is up now. You can find it through the links section of this web.

UPDATE 20 October 1999: For this update I've added one new article to Vintage Victor. It's called "Victor Mature's Great Appeal To All Women" and there are three wonderful photos with it. I've also fixed a few links on the web and updated the About Me section a little. For the next update I will be adding tons of new photos sent in by Terry Hebert and Doug Sederberg. Thank you so much to everyone who has sent in such great photos and articles. :) Please remember to check out TV NOW's Victor Mature Schedule for OCTOBER that is up now. Thank you to Victor for all of the joy that you brought into our lives.

MINI-UPDATE 25 September 1999: I've added one new article to Vintage Victor. It's called Always Sweet Vic and shows him giving ice cream to the children who worked with him on his movie, visiting fans, out with best pal Jim Backus, cooking, and with his friend Bill Evans (Vic made over his garage into a home for Bill and his wife when they had no place to live.) I'll be adding hundreds of new articles in the future months. Please remember to check out TV-NOW's Victor Mature schedule for OCTOBER which can be found through the links section. For the next update I will be adding wonderful photos and information about Victor's work with Tars and Spars.

MINI-UPDATE 17 September 1999: I've added one new article, an obituary from Louisville, with one of my favorite photos of Victor (actually all of his photos are my favorites :) :) Thank you so much to Mrs. Minstein (whose father knew Victor when they both were children in Louisville and whose Great-grandmother was a close friend of Victor's mother Clara) for the idea. :) Also in one obituary I read that Donations are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. You can also make donations on their website in memory of Victor here. Also their address is: Memorial and Honor Program, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. There is a donation form which can be printed from the website. One other thing I was going to mention is that many of you had written sharing your wonderful stories about getting autographs from Victor. He was always so gracious and generous with his time and always signed autographs for his fans. I'd love to start an Autographs section on the web so if any of you would like to share pictures of your autographs I'd love to put them up on the website so everyone can see them. You can send them to me as .jpg or .gif files and I will add them. Thank you.

UPDATE 2 September 1999: I would like to thank everyone who has sent in such nice e-mails and the heartfelt condolence messages for Mr. Mature's family. Thank you so much to the wonderful people who have written to me who had worked with Victor, had known him and his family or had met him. It's been so wonderful hearing all of your stories. Thank you so much for sharing them. A special thank you also goes to Aljean Harmetz and to Maria Ciaccia for their kindness and help. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Mature family during this incredibly sad time. I, of course, will continue to run the web as a tribute to Mr. Mature, who I think was the kindest, funniest, most intelligent and the most wonderful man ever. In the future months I will be adding hundreds of new links. I will also be adding dozens of new photos to the Gallery (thank you to Terry Hebert and Doug Sederberg for all of the great new photos they've sent). I'll also be adding hundreds of new articles and photos to Vintage Victor plus much more to every section of the web. For this update I've added two more articles that were written when he passed away, A He-Man With A Sense Of Humor and the obituary that appeared in many of the newspapers. I've also added one advertisement that he did during the 1950s. The very touching article about handsome Victor and his beautiful wife Lorey can still be accessed through this paragraph. Also the photo of Victor from 1988 playing golf in Palm Springs is here with the obituary I had up before. All of these articles have also been added to the Vintage Victor section. To access Yahoo's coverage of Victor passing away use this link. Please remember to check out TV NOW's Victor Mature Schedule for SEPTEMBER that is up now. You can find it through the links section. Click here for previous updates. Again, thank you to everyone and thank you to Victor for all of the joy you brought into our lives. We were all blessed to have known you... Please continue to send in your condolence messages. I will continue to collect them. I have added a very touching article about Victor and his lovely wife Lorey. Also many of you have written wanting to see current photos of Victor. I unfortunately don't have too many current photos but I just purchased and put up one of him playing golf from 1988. Also I have added one obituary to the site. To access Yahoo's coverage of Victor passing away use this link. I will add all of these articles to Vintage Victor later but for now you can access them by clicking on the links in this paragraph.
