During part of 1944 he performed with the Coast Guard Musical Review Tars and Spars that traveled around the United States helping to recruit new members of the Coast Guard. He was reassigned to the Philippine Islands after that. He was discharged from the Coast Guard on November 26, 1945. Thanks so much again for posting! :) :) Shannon Shannon
