In his early golfing career Vic was always followed around the course by his faithful dog, Genius. I remember playing with Vic one day and, at the end of nine holes, he ordered Genius up the hill to the clubhouse. I asked him the reason for this, and he said, "Genius developed a wheeze, and his doctor says he can only play nine holes a day." - By Jim Backus. :)
